The River Boma is situated within Kruger National Park big game territory on the banks of the Sabie River approximately 200 meters from our Lapa restaurant. A ranger accompanies guest at all times and as the venue is open to the elements, it is only available weather permitting and in the absence of any large game. Guests can walk between the River Boma and the hotel at leisure. The venue is rustic with river sand underfoot.

Nkoveni is a private venue on the hotel property. It is open-sided, with roll-down blinds and is flanked by a wooden boardwalk that overlooks the Kruger National Park. It is suitable for groups of various sizes (up to a maximum of 120 people) as screen dividers and plants are used to adjust the size of the venue. The venue is tiled and as it is open-sided, it is not air-conditioned.
To give an African Flair to your wedding, we have Traditional Entertainment available at R4900.00 per group: Shangaan Dancers, Choir or Marimba Band.
Our extensive menus are interchangeable to accommodate your personal requirements.
Bar Service
Please brief our team on your requirements for the provision of a full bar, malt, soft drink or cash bar.
Clients are welcome to set a limit on the total bar expenditure for their account. In order to maintain control of this account, we are willing to supply a regular update of the bar account during the function.

An updated Bar list is available on request. Wine orders need to be placed well in advance. No beverages may be brought onto the premises
Set-up and Cut-off time
Set up time is during office hours – 08:00 – 17:00 prior to the function. Cut of time for the function is 12:00
Payment
Upon confirmation of the event, we will require a 30% deposit to secure the date. The final amount is due 1-month prior the function date. On check out the day after the wedding, the bar account and any outstanding accounts have to be settled in full.
