- Seattle's Climate Action Plan established a goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 58% below 2008 levels by 2030 and to achieve zero net core emissions by 2050
- Over 80% of the power distributed across sustainable Seattle is generated from clean, carbon-free hydroelectricity
- Green Space commitment: Managing a 6,441-acre park system of over 480 parks, 12% of the city’s land is devoted to providing healthy and natural vegetation
